Cody Weight – President, Solitude Homes
Cody Weight born and raised in Springville, Utah holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah, where, as a student-athlete and team captain for the Utah Utes gained valuable lessons on teamwork, communication, and leadership—skills that have shaped his career in the home-building industry. Cody is also the former President of Idaho’s largest home builders association (BCASWI.org), where he led efforts to keep the cost of homeownership down. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Idaho State Home Builders Association, helping to preserve the American Dream.
He and his wife, Kelli, have four kids, two boys and two girls and when they’re not attending various sporting events, they love spending time together outdoors, boating, skiing, hunting, and fishing. Cody’s love for the outdoors is evident in his passion for archery elk hunting and mentoring young people, teaching them the values of outdoor adventure. His background as a former D1 corner and AFL player reflects his competitive spirit, which he channels into his work and volunteer efforts, particularly in coaching and mentoring youth.
For over two decades, Cody has led Solitude Homes through both prosperous and challenging times, including the Great Recession and the COVID-19 pandemic. His leadership has earned Solitude Homes both National and local recognition, including over 30 Parade of Homes Awards and features in National and International magazines, solidifying Solitude Homes reputation as a premier builder.
While he is deeply passionate about floor plan design and interior finishes, Cody’s greatest strength lies in building lasting relationships rooted in trust. He firmly believes that the success of Solitude Homes is due to the contributions and talent of others including, real estate agents—his clients and his team.
Jason Arrington – Accountant
Jason grew up in Twin Falls, Idaho, and pursued his passion for numbers at Boise State University, where he earned his accounting degree. He went on to pass the CPA exams and received his CPA license in January 2020. With extensive experience in accounting—specifically for home builders—Jason brings a keen eye for detail and financial precision to Solitude Homes.
As the company’s accountant, Jason ensures that every home’s total cost is carefully prepared, making sure customers are not overpaying while also protecting Solitude Homes from financial loss. He understands the importance of detailed cost tracking to create a win-win situation for both the company and its clients. Jason also manages draws from banks and cash-funded clients, keeping a meticulous record of every dollar spent on each project.
Beyond his work, Jason finds joy in helping his clients understand their financial picture, both in business and in their personal lives. He and his wife stay busy with their six children—three boys and three girls—who are actively involved in school, sports, and church activities. As a family, they love hiking, spending time outdoors, and going to the movies together.
Jon Ramos – Operations Manager
Raised in northern Utah, Jon Ramos is a dedicated family man of two boys and a girl committed with his wife Renee in teaching their young kid’s to work hard and enjoy outdoor adventures. Jon has always had a passion for building—whether it’s in fitness, coaching, or home construction. As the Operations Manager at Solitude Homes, he plays a key role in coordinating the pre-construction, construction, and post-construction process. However, his primary focus is on pre-construction and contract management. He helps clients finalize contracts, secures ACC approvals, and submits permits, ensuring a seamless and organized experience.
Jon is known for his strong organizational skills, clear communication, and expertise in technology and customer relations. His ability to bring visions to life extends beyond construction—whether it’s coaching young athletes, designing websites, or crafting homes built to stand the test of time.
When he’s not helping clients navigate the home-building journey you will find him coaching baseball for his sons, mentoring young athletes, or hunting in the mountains of Idaho, embracing the challenge and adventure of the outdoors.
Emily Lee – In-House Designer
Born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, Emily comes from a family of accomplished architects and designers. She began her design career at 18 and later earned a bachelor’s degree in sustainable interior design from Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design. With a passion for creating beautiful and functional spaces, she has worked across residential, high-end hospitality, and multi-family projects.
As the In-House Designer at Solitude Homes, Emily ensures that all selections are made on time and accurately recorded in our construction management software, allowing for a seamless and precise build process. She works closely with clients to bring their visions to life, ensuring each home reflects their personal style while maintaining functionality and timeless appeal. Known for her clean and sophisticated aesthetic, Emily embraces an evolving style and enjoys pushing design boundaries to create truly unique spaces.
Emily relocated to Boise in early 2024 and has quickly fallen in love with Idaho’s natural beauty. She enjoys camping and hiking in the Sawtooth Mountain Range, often near Stanley and Sun Valley. When she’s not exploring the outdoors, she appreciates cultural wine tastings at Les Bois Wines with her boyfriend, Baron.
Jason Johnstone – Project & Warranty Manager
Originally from California, Jason has always had a deep love for the outdoors—camping, hiking, hunting, and fishing. His hands-on experience in the construction industry began as a carpenter, where he honed his craft before transitioning into project management. With over a decade of leadership experience in the home building industry, Jason has worked under some of the largest home builders in the country, gaining extensive expertise in managing large-scale residential and commercial projects. His background includes tackling some of the most challenging builds, ensuring precision and quality at every stage.
As a Project and Warranty Manager at Solitude Homes, Jason oversees the day-to-day operations of construction, managing scheduling, ordering, and supervising the build process from permit pickup to final clean and new home orientation. In addition to his role in construction, he also coordinates and organizes warranty work and customer communication, ensuring that Solitude Homes continues to care for homeowners well beyond the closing date. His dedication to craftsmanship and customer satisfaction makes him a vital part of the Solitude Homes team.
For Jason, the most rewarding part of home building is seeing a homeowner’s excitement as their vision becomes a reality. His passion for creating quality homes, coupled with his commitment to long-term customer care, helps make the Solitude Homes experience exceptional from start to finish.

Kevin Foulger – Project Manager
Kevin Foulger grew up in northern Utah, where his love for the outdoors began. Whether skiing, mountain biking, or camping, he enjoys embracing adventure, especially with his wife, Kinzie, and their four children. Kevin is also an avid sports fan, finding the most joy in watching his kids compete on various teams throughout the valley.
Kevin earned his bachelor’s degree in Horticulture from Utah State University before pursuing a master’s degree in project management from Colorado Technical University. His career has been built on extensive experience managing properties, landscapes, and large-scale agricultural operations. Over the years, he has led teams, overseen daily operations, and successfully managed a variety of projects—including full home construction—by balancing priorities and ensuring quality results.
Since joining Solitude Homes in 2019, Kevin has taken pride in overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction. As a Project Manager, he is responsible for scheduling, ordering materials, and supervising the build process from permit pickup to final clean and new home orientation. His commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail ensures that every home is built to the highest standards, helping clients bring their dream homes to life.
Trevor DeHart – Project Manager
Trevor and his family relocated from California to Idaho five years ago and have embraced all that the State has to offer. A devoted husband and father of five, he enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the outdoors. When he’s not managing construction projects, you’ll find him snowboarding, hunting, or road cycling. His dedication to both his work and personal life reflects his well-rounded approach to building homes and creating lasting experiences.
With 24 years of experience in the construction industry, Trevor DeHart has worked on a wide range of projects, from residential remodels to high-rise commercial developments. As a Construction Manager at Solitude Homes, he oversees the day-to-day operations of construction, including scheduling, ordering materials, and supervising the build process from permit pickup to final clean and new home orientation. His passion for building and commitment to quality craftsmanship ensure that every home meets the highest standards.
Jeff Weight – Assistant Project Manager
Jeff Weight brings a lifetime of experience to his role as Assistant Project Manager at Solitude Homes. Growing up in Utah he began his career at 19 year’s old as a brick mason, Jeff spent 45 years mastering his craft. He then launched his own business, which he successfully ran for nearly 20 years, before transitioning into a project management with Solitude Homes. Known for his strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to deliver on expectations, Jeff’s experience has been invaluable to Solitude Homes.
For the past five years, Jeff has been an integral part of the team, where his extensive knowledge of the construction industry and hands-on approach have made him one of the most valued team members. In his new role assisting the project managers, Jeff continues to demonstrate his ability to tackle challenging tasks, communicate effectively, and execute with precision, solidifying his place as a key asset to the company.
Jeff and his wife, Susan, have been married of 48 years and have raised three kids who exemplify the same hard work and family commitment that Jeff and Susan instilled in them. Outside of work, Jeff is happiest when he’s outdoors, whether fishing or enjoying other outdoor activities. He and Susan share a love for spending time in nature and building on the values they’ve passed down to their children.
